Marvellous Meditation


Meditation doesn't have to be difficult or a chore.

In fact if you're not enjoying it, don't do it.


Meditation is a tool like so many other things to help us to connect with the awareness behind the thought - our true self.


It is a skill that when practised can help us to create space to just be and to become aware of how we think and what we want.


It can enable us to quieten the chatter in our mind so that solutions or inspiration can arise.


It can calm us by connecting us to our breath and taking time to slow down.


It can heal us by activating the parasympathetic nervous system which enables our body to rest and repair.


It can be used to manifest our dreams.


It can be done anywhere simply by focusing on one thing to the exclusion of everything else. Not so that we can control our thoughts or empty our mind, which is impossible. But so that we can stop our thoughts from controlling us.
