Take a walk.
Walking helps our bodies to move stress through the body and causes our brains to produce serotonin and dopamine, the so called happy chemicals. It also gives us an opportunity to connect with nature and be grateful for the use of our limbs and the beauty around us.
Take the time to become ware of your breath and then either just notice how it feels to breath in and breath out or take 3 deep breaths to calm and focus you, try breathing in for 4, holding for 2 and breathing out for 6 to help reduce stress and anxiety or breathe in and out through the mouth rapidly for a minute to raise your energy.
Drink lemon water.
Squeeze a fresh lemon into a glass of cold water or a cup of hot water and drink to promote wellbeing. Lemons contain antioxidants and flavanoids. Antioxidants mop up free radicals in the body and can thereby reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes. Flavonoids reduce inflammation in the body which can help to reduce autoimmune diseases, arthritis. Lemon water can also help eliminate toxins from the body.
Make a list.
Write done a list of things that you would love to do but feel that you never have time for. Things such as a long soak in the bath, reading a book, taking an online class, cooking a delicious dinner etc. and then each week, pick one activity for the list and MAKE the time to nurture yourself. You'll feel better for it which means that those around you will benefit too.
Take time to go within and allow the parasympathetic system - the body's repair and renew system to kick in. If you are not comfortable sitting with the breath, try repeating an affirmation (a phrase that is positive and based in the present tense), doing a body scan ( focusing on and relaxing each area of the body) or listening to a guided visualisation / meditation.(Check out youtube, the have thousands)
